Questions about electrical repair and troubleshooting
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
It is usually one of three things: too much on one circuit, a short in a device or a wire, or a breaker that has worn out. We test to find out which before we replace anything.
Is a flickering light dangerous?
A single flickering bulb is often just the bulb or the fixture. Flickering across several rooms, or when a large appliance starts, can mean a loose connection, and that should be checked soon.
Can you fix damage from a lightning strike or surge?
Yes. We check the panel, the circuits, and the devices that stopped working, replace what was damaged, and can add surge protection so the next storm does less harm.
